Machinists, pipe fitters and many more know that your feet often end up in the worst spots on the shop floor. Caliper MET takes one of our hardest-working boots and adds valuable mid-foot protection. But avoiding injury doesn’t have to come at the cost of comfort. The boot’s waterproof, full-grain leather upper rests on four layers of cushioning through the footbed to midsole, making Caliper MET supportive underfoot with plenty of protection from above.

To ensure its quality, we put our leather through six different tests before making our selection. Our full-grain leathers are the strongest and most durable form of leather.
Waterproof Danner® Dry
100% waterproof barrier allows moisture to escape without letting water in, keeping your feet dry and comfortable all day long.
MET Guard & EH-Rated
Built with a metatarsal (MET) guard to protect the top of the foot from impact and non-conductive soles to help protect against electrical shock in dry conditions. Meets ASTM F2413 safety standards for metatarsal (MET) protection and electrical hazard (EH) resistance.
Aluminum Toe
Our aluminum safety toe provides a lighter alternative to steel and meets ASTM F2413 standards for impact and compression resistance.
Metatarsal Guard
Floating metatarsal guard provides impact protection across the top of the foot while maintaining flexibility and lasting comfort.
Dual Layer Comfort Footbed
The Danner Dual Layer Comfort footbed is constructed from plush memory foam and polyurethane to provide instant and long-lasting comfort.
PU Midsole
With integrated polypropylene board to provide support underneath the entire length of the foot.
Danner® Caliper Outsole
The oil-and-slip-resistant rubber Caliper Outsole offers versatile indoor and outdoor traction with a low-profile 90° heel.
Memory Foam Strobel Sock
The strobel sock, the material used to finish the bottom of a boot, is made from memory foam for additional comfort and cushioning underfoot.
